Well, the Breville company is renowned for making well-built and solid kitchen appliances, especially juicing machines. The Breville 200XL is housed in a thick, long-lasting, plastic design (you would need to shell out another $200 to buy its more attractive stainless steal big brother the Breville 800JEXL, but the BJE200XL is still a decent looking model), and if you take a look at its reviews on amazon, you will seen this machine is built to last.
• Life-span. It is important to keep in mind, that an important aspect of cost is longevity. You may have seen juicers by Hamilton beach and Black & Decker that cost just $30 to $60 bucks, but they are not built to last like the Breville. The reviews for the Hamilton Beach and Black & Decker machines are high-rated, and they are in high number at around 700 reviews, but don't let this fool you.   The are a number of Omega juicers in the 8000 model range, they began with the Omega 8000 and have now evolved 5 times to provide the present 8006. One thing all them have in common is that they have all been heralded as one of the best masticating juicers on the market. You will find models dating back to the Omega 8003 on amazon, and they are all rated with at least 4 stars. These machines last - big time.
