A Few Juicing Tips
If your carrots and apples are not organic, then it is better to peel them. Most of the pesticides in non-organic produce is found on the outside, as you would expect. So peeling will greatly reduce the amount of pesticides in your juice.
If you carrots and apples are organic, then the juice will be considerably healthier if you don’t peel them! The peel is a major source of antioxidants. In fact, 90% or more of the antioxidants in most fruits and veggies is actually found within and just under the peel. This makes sense since the antioxidants are there to protect the plants from the oxidative damage caused by sunlight.
