Omega VRT350HD Review – This Upright Mascating Juicer in the Spotlight

The Omega VRT350HD is Omega’s proud addition to the world of vertical (or upright) masticating juicers. And like their famous horizontal style masticating juicers — the Omega J8000 Series — the VRT350HD is another awesome high-quality product by this company. Just like many other avid juicing fans, I am big fan of the Omega masticating juicer machines; along with a few other companies they make the best masticating machines available. While the J8000 series is one of the best regarded masticating juicers to date, the VRT350 is one of the best upright masticating juicers too. The VRT350HD takes the single auger horizontal design and pushes the concept one step further with the Ultem Screen – a screen that is 8x stronger than the normal...

Omega J8008 Review – What’s New in Omega’s Newest Masticating Juicer Machine?

The Omega 8008 Nutrition Center is the 5th generation and newest model (at time of writing) from the Omega 8000 line of masticating juicers. It provides all the awesomeness of previous models along with some upgraded features. If you have read any of my other reviews about juicing machines, you will see that I always speak favorably about the Omega brand, and I don’t give great reviews to every juicer. Some juice machines suck. However, the Omega 8008 is awesome, and many juicing enthusiasts and reviewers at Amazon agree with me. It gets an awesome 4.6 out of 5 stars at Amazon. What Makes the Omega 8000 Machines Awesome? They are undoubtedly one of the top of the line masticating juice machines. If I was faced with having to only own one juicing machine it...

Omega J8007 Review – Is it an Improvement on the Previous Model?

As you may have read in some of my other posts the Omega 8000 series of masticating juicers are my favorite machines. Not to say that there are not a few other masticating machines on par with the Omega 8000 series, I have several other favorites too, but myself and numerous other avid juicing fans I know are major fans of the Omega. There is no doubt that it is an awesome machine. I have been using the 8006 model for quite a few years now, but there has been an upgrade since, the 8007 model (There is now a newer model too, which you can read about at my Omega J8008 Review). Omega 8007 Upgrade From 8004 Interestingly enough, the Omega 8007 is an upgraded version of the Omega 8004, not the Omega 8005 or 8006 (the Omega 8008 is actually the upgrade from the 8006...

Breville BJS600XL Fountain Crush Review – Breville Goes Masticating!

At last, Breville made the leap into the world of masticating juicer machines. They have been making top-of-the-line centrifugal machines for years, and you can’t beat a quality centrifugal juicer when you need a quick and easy, healthy juice. However, when you need a non-frothy, more nutritious juice that squeezes more yield out of your fruits and veggies, you need a masticating juicer, and Breville was lacking in that respect — until now. This is exciting news to me because of the great reputation that Breville has for making really high-quality juicers, among other kitchen products. I have several of their centrifugal machines. The Breville 800JEXL is their power house machine, and if I want to serve up some fresh juice to a gathering at the house,...

Lexen Manual Wheatgrass Juicer Review – The GP27 Healthy Juicer

The Lexen Manual Wheatgrass Juicer (the GP27 model), is definitely one of the better manual wheatgrass juicing machines available today. What makes it a highly competitive juicer is its excellent price point, at just $50 or less, you get a really high quality machine that produces great wheatgrass juice yields. In fact for this price bracket, I would say it is the best manual wheatgrass juicer you can buy. This GP27 model is actually an upgrade to their previous model. A key difference is that the auger on this machine contains a stainless steel tip compared to the nylon tip of its predecessor. This improves both performance and longevity. Also, the auger itself has been slightly redesigned to produce even greater juice yields. While many of us are now aware of...
